Ten Acres is Enough by James Miller

When you sign up you will also be able to download a great little e-book, which was written in 1864 by a visionary farmer, James Miller.  It’s called Ten Acres is Enough and is a charming account of his experiences farming the land growing small fruit trees.   It isn’t exactly permaculture, but he really does have some amazing insights about the dangers of modern day big plot farming.  The subtitle is ‘How a Very Small Farm may be used to Keep a Very Large Family with Extensive and Profitable Experience in the Cultivating of Smaller Fruits’.

The Hero’s Journey from Joseph Campbell

We are also offering  our own e-book ‘Your Heroic Journey – A Guide to Love and Life’.  This is a simple guide using the film ‘Star Wars’ as the metaphor, to Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey. Campbell discovered, through mythology, the patterns that link all human behavior in particular, the journey’s we make on our one big lifetime journey and the ongoing many journey’s we make we move through the whole cycle.  He called it the Hero’s Journey.

An analysis of the hypnotic patterns of influence used in an Obama speech – We are all being manipulated every day. Freud discovered this trait in humans and how to reach them, and one of his legacies lives on in the invention of PR by a relative and an existing PR company created by Matthew Freud – Freud Communications.   PR per se and influential speech is NOT wrong per se.  It is wrong when used without integrity and for personal gain at the expense of others.  

And, to that end YOU NEED TO KNOW how you are being manipulated. When you do you will be more able to resist it.  AND, given you are working to help save Earth and create a sustainable future for generations to come, YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW TO USE THIS if you don’t already!
