Pierre Soleil

Pierre Soleil are a husband and wife team, Pierre and Sunny Soleil, who are dedicated to emerging as natural living, earth based wild humans. We believe that the Mayans were great futurists and system scientists who saw the pattern of the universe where we cannot, yet. They saw the stages humans had to go through in order to emerge and live with the whole system in mind, not just their own system and that of their nearest and dearest. We believe that human consciousness is expanding exponentially just as the Mayans predicted. Humans are waking up to the illusion and seeing that life has to be led in a different way, if we and all life on earth are to survive. We live in a rural location, backing onto the National Forest in Georgia on the Tennessee borders. Our land is rented. We started our life together in two RV's in an RV park in the Blue Ridge mountains. We are slowly trying to make the shift from this way of living to a more natural way. We want to encourage people to wake up and embrace the expanding of human consciousness and the emergence into a new world of 'other' and 'whole system' focus. We want to encourage people to say 'NO' to beliefs and consumption habits that they would have us addicted to. We believe that private ownership of land has to change if we are to provide space and resource generating facilities to ALL humans. We want to encourage people with land to share with those who have not, allowing people to build simple dwellings and grow food. We want to encourage people to revitalize deforested and desolate land and make it available for human settlement. We want to encourage people to spend more time in the forests, literally getting down to earth and living as much as possible from what is there. We want to encourage people to sprout seeds and add it to their diet as a totally healthy natural fresh nutritional supplement We want to encourage people to grow their own food, leat seasonally and reduce their consumption of junk, processed and microwave foods. We want to encourage people to get off the grid and learn to be energy self-sufficient We want to encourage people to slow down consumption of built-in-obsolesence goods, to recycle and more importantly, to repurpose old stuff We want to encourage cottage industries, where people provide natural based, useful goods for the coming rewilding of earth And we're trying to do all of this ourselves. The journey is a progressive one and as we make it, we recognize the responsibility towards those on the path behind us, just as those who have gone before us have opened our eyes and woken us up with their examples and endeavors. Some have been moving into this concept of 'brown living' for this for years and are already living in self-sustaining intentional communities. Others are half-way there, and others still are waking up to the green movement. Our aim is to move from green to brown. Brown living is self sustaining, community based, living on the land in simple natural buildings, growing self sustaining food, digging wells, building their own solar panels and windmills, using wood for heat and cooking, taking care of wellness with natural supplements, herbal remedies, diet and pathogen killers, sharing our space with others in harmony.

Holistic Education - The Way Forward

Until we give children free rein to be themselves and provide an education system that fosters this fully, we will continue to produce generations of unhappy people locked into what other people think they ought to do, taking on beliefs and values that aren’t right for them… What a terrible thought…! I know, because I’ve been struggling to emerge for a long time.

Life is a journey and we are all unique so when we open ourselves and our kids out to that fact and teach them the values of harmonious living with people and the earth and how to survive and thrive in an alternative system, we will truly be contributing to the evolution of the world through the evolution of each individual to their own greatness.

If we continue to teach them the same old current system crap that hasn’t worked for us, we are not following the basic presuppositions of life.. If it doesn’t work, do something else..

Starting a local edible tree nursery by Will Bason

Ever thought of starting a tree and berry bush nursery? With more and more people getting excited about food forest gardens, there will be more demand for ready grown fruit and nut tree and berry bush seedlings and cuttings. As communities become more locally based this will increase the demand for LOCAL suppliers. We hope this article will inspire some to explore this as an eco-commerce that would offer great barter opportunities when the current money-based economy falters.

How meeting humanity's basic needs allows our gifts to be real gifts

We are trapped in a circle of needing to meet our basic requirements, and having to use our gifts in exchange for ‘money’ in order to purchase those basic needs. And we are trapped in a a mesmeric trance of believing we need more than the basics in order to be happy. What has to happen so that we are freed from the circle of desiring more than we need and able to give our gifts as true free gifts to humanity.
We must break the circle of desiring more than we need so that we can truly enter the circle of freely sharing our gifts as gifts to humanity.. Click the title above to read more

Adventures in Permaculture - We must prepare NOW

If we truly believe that we are all one, that every human is a member of our family we must change the way we think about ownership.

Feb 172010

As we near the end of this intensive two weeks, I am beginning to integrate the sense of having truly found my calling.  I am a permie.    That’s what avid permaculturists call themselves.  And whilst still a student who has so much to learn, I feel as if I’ve finally found a ‘religion’ that I can [...]
