Colloidal Silver

If you are concerned about the overuse of antibiotics and are determined to begin to manage your own preventative and remedial healthcare, then colloidal silver is one thing I’d advise you to add to your home medicine cabinet.

Of course, the law is such that people can’t claim it works.. but you will find more and more people using it and having good things to say about it.    I have used it for a couple of years now, in conjunction with MMS and I swear by it.

Colloidal silver is expensive if you buy it in the shops.. but if, as we do, you make your own, you can have an endless supply for your own use and to give or even sell to others.  It should be stored in brown glass bottles not clear ones.

I use it as a deodorant and it works brilliantly.    I spray it into my mouth and on my gums to keep them healthy.  If you get a cold, drink down a small cup of colloidal.   When our cat got into a fight and had his eyelid torn open [it was horrible] I applied colloidal for two days and it cleared up without infection. My friend used it for a sinus infection which cleared up and never returned, after she’d been plagued by sinus challenges for years.   Pink eye goes in a trice and I spray it into my eyes, when they are tired or itchy.

I mix it with oil of oregano and spray it on cuts and bites.  It cleans the would straight away.

I make my own silver and you can too.  An investment in a really good machine like the Silver Lungs will pay off in a short time, especially if you pass it on to others. And you can afford to let them have it at half the price they charge in the stores. It has been known for centuries that silver has powerful properties as a germ killer.

Centuries ago silver was used by the wealthy for cooking utensils and water was stored in silver urns to keep it fresh. Silver was also used on open wounds to stop infection. Colloidal silver was also extensively used as an antibiotic until the early 20th century and the discovery of penicillin.

In recent years there has been a steadily growing renewed interest in colloidal silver as a treatment. some people simply can’t take or do not want to take modern antibiotics, while others prefer a natural product. Colloidal silver is harmless to both humans and animals, so can be used on your pets and even birds by putting it in their drinking water. Many have found it particularly effective for gum/mouth infections in both humans and dogs/cats. It is used throughut the world by natural health practitioners to treat a variety of ailments from minor skin infections to lyme disease.

Dressings impregnated with silver have been used for a number of years and are still being used in the UK by the NHS in particular for burn injuries to stop the wound becoming infected. NASA also use silver for water purification and sanitising aboard their spacecraft.

Before the discovery of modern antibiotics and drugs, colloidal silver was extensively used by doctors to treat any number of illnesses including gonorrhea,  tonsillitus, whooping cough and typhoid among them.

If you, like me, are concerned about the overuse of modern antibiotics and the fact that resistant strains of bacteria are developing you might want to consider making your own colloidal silver.  It not thought that there are any strains resistant to silver. Another reason for its popularity may be due to the fact that it is truly multi purpose, modern antibiotics will only kill bacteria, they will not touch viruses or fungal infections. Colloidal silver will destroy all of them.

Albert Searle, the founder of a pharmaceutical company which went on to become Merck, was a researcher of colloidal silver in the early 1900s. In his book, the use of colloids in health and disease, he pesents his findings on the curative effects of colloidal silver and reveiws numerous articles published in the British Medical Journal and The Lancet on the succesful use of colloidal silver in curing disease.

Searle writes “the germicidal action of certain metals in the colloidal state having been demonstrated, it only remained to apply them to the human subject, and this has been done in a large number of cases with astonishing results.

For internal administration, either hypodermicaly or orally, they have the advantage of being rapidly fatal to the parasites, both bacterial or otherwise, without any toxic action on the host”.

There is a wealth of information and claims from individuals and researchers on the qualities and benefits of colloidal silver, including claims that it has even killed some types of cancer cells.
